A NOTE FROM OUR WINEMAKERS
This is a cracking wine from a great vintage. It is rich and complex wine and displays all the hallmarks of a great Margaret River Cabernet Merlot wine.

THE FINER DETAILS
With lush aromas of dark chocolate and cherry, floral hints and bay leaf, this wine is typical of wines from the Wilyabrup sub-region. It is rich and spicy and has a fine palate with generous mid-weight fruit and strong, firm tannins. It would complement a fine Wagyu steak.Download Tasting Notes
Vintage 2012 was a short, warm season that rewarded careful timing in the vineyard and winery.
The fruit was hand harvested in late March and the must was fermented in closed and open static fermenters for 10 to 14 days. A portion of the wine was kept in stainless steel while the majority was aged in a mix of old and new French and American oak for 12 months. This wine is a blend of 75% Cabernet Sauvignon and 25% Merlot.
