Can you smell it, Sydney? Truffle season is approaching fast and Madame Truffles is opening her pop-up shop right here at the Handpicked Cellar Door.
As seen on Concrete Playground: "The star of the show is the truffle pasta, mixed in a flaming cheese wheel and topped with fresh shavings of the fancy fungi. It's portioned for two people at $70 a pop ($35 per person, minimum two people), so make sure to bring a mate along. Another truffle-filled treat on offer is a wine flight of Handpicked's finest paired with truffle-topped cheese and charcuterie ($59 all up)."
Madame Truffles pop up store
Madame Truffles has become a local legend, bringing us 'city folk' seasonal, high-quality black truffles from all different regions of Australia. The truffles sold-instore are harvested fresh each week - as winter's most treasured ingredient, the stock is very limited. Aside from straight-up truffles, the pop-up will also sell a variety of truffle-themed pantry items - truffle salt, truffle honey, truffle butter, truffle ravioli, truffle ice-cream...

The flaming truffle pasta special is launching on July 4th and is available only from Thursday through Sunday for lunch and dinner.
