what is mindfulness?
A mental state achieved by focusing one’s awareness on the present moment, while calmly acknowledging and accepting one’s feelings, thoughts, and bodily sensations, used as a therapeutic technique. When you practice mindfulness, your thoughts tune into what you're sensing in the present moment rather than rehashing the past or imagining the future.
Your ticket includes 1-hour mindfulness workshop with Kirsten McKenna followed by a mindful wine tasting with wine sommelier from Handpicked Wines.
Kirsten McKenna is a performance and mindfulness consultant passionate about supporting individuals and organisations through positive change. Utilising the constructs in positive psychology, mindfulness and neuroscience, Kirsten takes a practical approach to help individuals harness their innate strengths and cultivate well-being in order to develop their potential and lead more fulfilling lives.
