THE FINER DETAILS
Bright colour with attractive spicy berry aromas, a silky smooth mid palate and fine tannin to finish. Try with Peking duck or seared kangaroo fillet.Download Tasting Notes
The fruit was destemmed, sorted by hand then fermented in small open fermenters with hand plunging. Select parcels were cold soaked to enhance extraction of colour and flavour. The wine was matured in French oak barriques, about one-third new, for 10 months.

Capella Vineyard is a small, ultra-premium vineyard with 4.2 hectares of Pinot Noir on the shores of Mornington Peninsula.
The young vineyard is entirely hand pruned and harvested. Soils are grey clay loam and the vineyard enjoys a moderating maritime influence of Western Port, Port Phillip and Bass Strait.Read more about the Mornington Peninsula

Capella Vineyard is planted on soils of grey clay loam – native to the region.
With vines which wrap around a beautiful lake, the vineyard is home to many native bird species including the black swan.
