2015 was an excellent vintage in Tasmania, particularly in the north of the island, where there were moderate yields and outstanding quality throughout.
Harvest took place in late-March and the fruit was destemmed and cold soaked before wild fermentation in open fermenters with hand plunging. The wine was matured in French oak barriques for 11 months. The barrels were a mix of old and one third new from a select variety of coopers and forests.
