Handpicked and whole bunch pressed to deliver vibrant citrus and stone fruit flavours, this wine has the added complexity of barrel fermentation and maturation. This outstanding vintage produced wines of excellent structure that will cellar well.
Download Tasting NotesVINTAGE
2015 was a strong vintage in the Yarra Valley. Mild conditions in spring produced excellent fruit set and yields were good. Continuing mild conditions allowed good flavour development; it was generally dry and disease pressure was low.
WINEMAKING
This fruit was hand picked in late February then whole bunch pressed and fermented in French oak barriques, about one-third new. The wine was aged in the same barrels for 10 months.
