THE FINER DETAILS
A classic Barossa Shiraz with aromas of ripe plums, black forest cake, spice and fragrant oak. The palate is full flavoured but finely balanced with savoury oak and abundant soft tannin. This wine would complement a traditional roast beef dinner or flavoursome beef stir fry dishes.Download Tasting Notes
Vintage 2014 was a challenging one in Barossa. Overall the season was warmer than average. Yields were low and fruit quality was good.
Harvest was early; this fruit was picked in the second half of February. The must was fermented in overhead fermenters with pumping over and the wine was matured in a mix of old and new American oak for 15 months.
