THE FINER DETAILS
This wine was made in the classic Barossa Valley style. It is deeply coloured and has complex fruit cake and berry fruit aromas and a full flavoured but soft palate finished with a firm tannin grip. Serve with lamb any way you like it – roasted, barbecued or stewed.Download Tasting Notes
Low yields allowed the vines to cope with the dry and warm season and to produce intensely flavoured fruit.
The fruit was fermented in overhead fermenters with pumping over and some heading down boards. The wine was aged for 15 months in a mix of old and new American and German oak hogsheads.
