THE FINER DETAILS
This is a textural and lively Riesling from very old vines. It has fresh lemon and lime on the palate with a mineral edge and refreshing acidity. Serve with seared tuna.Download Tasting Notes
Warm conditions late in the season led to an early harvest. About 70 per cent of the fruit came from vines more than 100 years old; the remainder was from 30 year-old vines in the same vineyard in the heart of the Eden Valley.
The fruit was hand harvested and whole bunch pressed and the juice was fermented in stainless steel tanks using aromatic-enhancing yeast. The wine was aged on lees to add complexity and palate weight.
Eden ValleySouth Australia, Australia
Cooler, hillier and prettier than its heavy-weight neighbour, Barossa Valley, the Eden Valley has been described as 'Barossa's Garden of Eden'.
It shares the area's rich vinous history and has some of the oldest Riesling vines in the world.Read more about the Eden Valley
