A NOTE FROM OUR WINEMAKERS
A beautifully-balanced wine representing everything we love about Mornington Peninsula Pinot Noir. The floral lift drives the aroma and the palate is rich and full-bodied with flavours of cherries, spice and subtle but firm tannin.

THE FINER DETAILS
The beautiful mid-red colour, quite dark for Pinot Noir, is indicative of the power of the fruit in this wine. There is also plenty of lifted cherry and spice aromas; a rich and full-bodied Pinot Noir.Download Tasting Notes
It was a warm vintage, with a good ripening period and grapes were harvested from early March.
The fruit was sourced Handpicked’s own Capella Vineyard in Bittern where young vines are planted on soils of grey clay loam, as well as two sites where soils are red and the elevation around 200m makes for generally cooler conditions. Each vineyard block was fermented separately in small open fermenters. The wine was aged in French oak, 33% new, for 11 months.
