A NOTE FROM OUR WINEMAKERS
This wine has heaps of flavour and depth; quite a big style for the Yarra Valley. It will grow in the bottle for the next two to three years and then age superbly.

There was good winter rainfall in 2012 creating excellent soil moisture. Early heat in spring and a warm dry summer led to an early harvest, but cool conditions in autumn allowed optimal ripeness in Cabernet Sauvignon fruit.
This fruit was handpicked in mid-March; the wine was matured for 15 months in French oak barriques, approximately one third new.
